About this role
COSM is hiring a Production Specialist to manage the behind-the-scenes work that gets collector vehicles in front of buyers on Bring a Trailer. You'll handle the full lifecycle of auction listings—organizing seller submissions, coordinating with both sellers and internal teams to ensure accuracy, and serving as the main point of contact through the pre-auction phase. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple listings at different stages while meeting daily production targets, all while maintaining clear, professional communication with sellers who are often emotionally invested in their vehicles.
The ideal candidate has at least two years in customer support, content production, technical writing, or automotive work. You'll need solid writing and editing abilities to present detailed information clearly, a detail-oriented mindset to catch errors and inconsistencies, and genuine customer service instincts—including the discretion to handle sensitive information and build trust. An interest in collector cars or hands-on automotive experience is valued but not required; what matters more is your problem-solving approach and willingness to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues.
This full-time hybrid role is based in San Francisco and pays $66,000–$70,000. You'll have access to Hearst's training programs, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one, and a 401(k) with company match. Note that applicants must be located in one of the eligible states listed in the job posting.
