About this role

CBIZ is hiring a Commercial Lines Producer in Dallas to own the full sales cycle for new commercial insurance business—from cold outreach through deal close. You'd be the revenue driver on the front lines, building a pipeline of qualified prospects through prospecting, discovery conversations, and relationship-building with decision-makers, then handing off closed clients to the service team. This is a hunter role that demands self-discipline, urgency, and the ability to position CBIZ's risk management solutions as a trusted advisor to mid-market commercial clients.

The position requires an active P&C license (or the ability to obtain one) and a track record in B2B commercial sales, ideally within insurance brokerage or professional services. You'll need strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Salesforce, and familiarity with Sagitta or similar P&C agency systems. Travel based on client and business needs is expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred, though a high school diploma with relevant industry experience meets the minimum threshold.

This role suits someone who thrives in a competitive, metrics-driven environment and enjoys the full ownership of the sales process. You'd be working in-office in Dallas as part of a large national firm with deep industry expertise across multiple service lines, which creates cross-sell opportunities and a platform for long-term growth.
