About this role

CBIZ is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee retirement plan administration for a designated portfolio of clients in their Philadelphia office. You would serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors, managing the full scope of compliance and administrative work—including compliance testing, Form 5500 preparation, asset reconciliation, contribution allocations, and required minimum distribution calculations. The role demands both technical expertise and strong client relationship skills, with responsibility for resolving complex requests, maintaining service standards, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships.

This position requires at least five years of hands-on retirement plan administration and compliance experience, ideally with a background in accounting or finance. You should have solid working knowledge of ERISA and IRS/DOL regulations, proficiency with retirement plan administration systems and Excel, and ideally hold or be pursuing QPA or QKA credentials. Familiarity with FT William software is preferred. Beyond technical competence, the role calls for someone who can communicate effectively across organizational levels, work under tight deadlines, and take initiative in coaching others and anticipating client needs.

You'd be joining a large national professional services firm with deep expertise across accounting, tax, advisory, and benefits. The in-office position in Philadelphia offers stability within an established organization committed to professional development and career growth.
