You'll act as the primary advisor on client accounts, managing the full scope of deliverables—from financial statements and tax returns to work papers—while maintaining quality standards and meeting budget and timeline expectations. The role requires strong technical expertise across accounting, tax, and advisory services, along with the ability to understand each client's unique business context and identify proactive solutions to their challenges.
Beyond delivery, you'll drive new business development in partnership with leadership, participate in proposals and client presentations, and manage billing and realization metrics. You'll need at least five years of related experience, three years in a supervisory capacity, and relevant professional licenses. Travel based on client needs is expected, and the role is in-office in San Francisco.
This position suits someone with a solid technical foundation in accounting or tax who is ready to step into client-facing leadership, combine strategic advisory work with team management, and contribute to growing CBIZ's business in the middle-market space.
