About this role
AAR Corp. is building out a second shift operation at its Jacksonville warehouse and seeking a supervisor to lead that team. You'd oversee receiving and shipping operations, working directly with warehouse personnel to maintain on-time delivery, cost control, and quality standards. The role involves designing workflows to boost productivity, cross-training staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and housekeeping compliance. You'd report to the Site Manager and collaborate with the Operations team to hit program metrics.
To succeed here, you'll need at least three years of aviation logistics experience and ideally some lead or supervisory background. An associate degree or equivalent technical training is required, or four years of related hands-on experience. Because AAR handles aviation parts and equipment, you must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations. The position runs 2:30 to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday, with potential overtime, and involves standard warehouse demands—lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, reaching, and moving around the facility.
This is a proactive posting for a role that doesn't yet have an open vacancy but should materialize soon as the second shift launches. If you have aviation logistics supervisory experience and are comfortable with evening shift work in a warehouse environment, this could be a solid opportunity to join an established operation at the ground level of a new team.
