About this role

At AAR Corp.'s Miami warehouse, you'd step into a supervisory role that spans both office and warehouse operations—receiving, shipping, inventory, expediting, and packing. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'd be responsible for leading and coordinating personnel across these functions, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and within established procedures.

Your core focus would be on driving efficiency and quality. This means designing and implementing improved processes where needed, cross-training staff on clerical and warehouse procedures, and holding the team accountable to productivity, cost, and quality targets. You'd also oversee material handling equipment maintenance, conduct quality audits on incoming and outgoing materials, and manage inventory accuracy and packaging standards. Safety and facility standards fall under your watch as well—you'd act as the facility and safety representative, ensuring training is completed and safety checks are maintained.

This role suits someone with supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations, a practical understanding of receiving, shipping, and inventory workflows, and the ability to lead and develop staff. You'll need strong organizational skills to manage multiple functions simultaneously, attention to detail for QA work, and the initiative to identify and implement process improvements.
