You would conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team, selecting appropriate assessment tools, interpreting results, and documenting findings to support accurate identification and compliance with state and federal regulations. The role requires managing a full caseload of paperwork—evaluation reports, IEPs, and supporting documentation—all within mandated timelines and procedural standards.
Beyond assessment and documentation, you would represent the program to families, schools, and community partners, building relationships that support both individual student outcomes and the broader Early Intervention mission. Staying current with program procedures, regulations, and evidence-based practices through professional development is an ongoing expectation. You'll work with considerable independence and initiative, requiring strong organizational skills, self-direction, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a team.
To qualify, you must hold a valid PA School Psychologist K-12 certification and a master's degree in school psychology. Experience with preschool-age children is preferred. You'll need a valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout the county, along with the ability to meet physical demands including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
