About this role

Acturhire is seeking an experienced healthcare financial professional to step into a manager-level role in Charlotte with hybrid flexibility. You'd be working in benefit consulting or health underwriting—the kind of specialized financial services work that requires both technical depth and client-facing judgment. This role expects you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, mentor junior staff, and deliver quality work on time and budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

The position calls for at least four years in professional services, ideally with exposure to benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurance underwriting. You'll need solid grounding in health and welfare products, underwriting and funding concepts, and intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. A State Life and Health license is required within your first 90 days. While big data analytics experience and progress toward health actuarial or CEBS designations are valued, they're not mandatory. The role suits self-starters who can work independently and as part of a team, identify solutions with incomplete information, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.

WTW offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA, flexible spending accounts, life and disability coverage, paid time off, a 401(k), and an employee assistance program. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
