The role involves managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality work is delivered on schedule and within budget, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate brings at least three years of hands-on experience managing defined benefit plans, preferably in a consulting setting, along with familiarity with pension risk transfer assessment or placement. Professional credentials matter here—the role expects ASA or EA designation, with FSA, CERA, or CFA encouraged. You'll need strong project management discipline, solid communication skills both written and verbal, and demonstrated ability to contribute to business development. An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
