About this role

Acturhire is seeking a Client Advocate for its Los Angeles office who will manage construction insurance relationships at the middle-market level and support larger, more complex accounts within a team structure. This role demands deep expertise in commercial Property & Casualty insurance with specific knowledge of construction products—Builder's Risk, wrap-up programs, surety, and professional liability among them. You'll analyze coverage gaps, review construction contracts for insurance requirements, and guide clients through renewal processes while identifying growth opportunities within existing relationships.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of client-facing P&C experience, ideally with construction industry background, and holds a current Property & Casualty license. You'll need strong analytical skills to interpret complex models, advanced negotiation abilities to structure tailored solutions, and proven capability to lead independently on simpler accounts or partner effectively on larger ones. Leadership and mentoring skills matter here—you may direct Associate Client Advocates—as does business acumen specific to construction markets and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Acturhire offers a base salary of $120,000 to $155,000 annually plus short-term incentive bonus eligibility, with comprehensive health, retirement, and leave benefits. The role is in-office in Los Angeles and requires periodic travel. Professional designations like CPCU, ARM, or CRIS are preferred, with CRIS particularly valued for construction specialists.
