About this role
Acturhire is seeking a Client Manager to join its San Francisco office in a hybrid arrangement, managing insurance employee benefits accounts for carriers and internal stakeholders. The role requires 3–5 years of insurance industry experience with specific expertise in employee benefits, along with a state insurance license (New York, Massachusetts, Tennessee, or California) either in hand or obtainable within your first month. You'll handle account management independently on smaller accounts and support complex ones under guidance, balancing competing priorities while staying responsive to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced setting.
Success in this position depends on strong communication across written, spoken, and presentation formats, paired with genuine customer service skills and the ability to build trust. You'll need to manage data analysis, adopt new software systems, and juggle multiple tasks while problem-solving on the fly. Project planning, delegation, and oversight capabilities matter, as does the flexibility to adapt when client needs or priorities shift.
The base salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, with eligibility for a short-term incentive bonus. WTW offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans including a 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, disability coverage, and employee assistance resources. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
