About this role
Skilled Wound Care is building a physician-led wound care program across Philadelphia's skilled nursing facilities and is actively recruiting surgeons, family medicine, and internal medicine physicians. This contract role emphasizes clinical independence—you direct patient care based on your judgment rather than institutional protocols—while maintaining a predictable M-F schedule with no on-call obligations. The work centers on evidence-based wound management, including surgical debridement, advanced dressing protocols, and collaborative post-acute care.
The position suits physicians seeking autonomy outside large hospital systems, whether you're an experienced attending exploring a different practice model or someone transitioning into specialized wound care.
