About this role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and operate CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment systems for federal government clients in defense, national security, and related sectors. Based in Huntsville and working in-office, you'll partner with development, operations, and security teams to automate deployments, implement monitoring and logging, and embed security practices throughout the pipeline. The role centers on reducing deployment time, ensuring reliable scaling, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code that supports fast, secure releases.
You'll need at least three years of hands-on experience with cloud deployments, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI, infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform, and scripting languages including Python or Bash. Add to that one year working with monitoring platforms like Prometheus or Grafana, a bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent military or job experience), and DoD 8140 compliance certification—typically Security+ or CISSP. An active Top Secret clearance is required; SCI eligibility is preferred. The salary range is $103,200 to $196,400 depending on location and experience.
This is a full-time position at a Glassdoor-recognized top workplace. AWS Professional certification, experience across multiple cloud platforms, Linux and Windows systems administration, and familiarity with national security environments are valued additions. If you have a security clearance, federal contracting experience, and the technical depth to own both pipeline architecture and operational reliability, this role offers the chance to directly support government missions at scale.
