About this role
Cotton Holdings Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Representative to build revenue by consulting with property owners immediately after damage events—which means you'll be on call 24/7 to respond rapidly when disasters strike. Your role combines sales with relationship-building: you'll establish trust with distressed clients in their most vulnerable hours, explain Cotton's full range of restoration, construction, roofing, and logistical services, and coordinate between the property owner and Cotton's operations team to guide them through recovery.
This position requires at least five years in restoration, military service, customer service, construction, insurance, or sales, plus the ability to stay composed and decisive under pressure. You'll need solid knowledge of construction and restoration methods, comfort with Microsoft Office and standard business software, and genuine skill at communicating with people during stressful situations. The hybrid Boston-based role also includes business development outreach during quieter periods, so self-motivation and strong time management are essential.
This is a fit for someone energized by fast-paced, unpredictable work who finds meaning in helping people navigate crises. If you thrive on being the first point of contact in emergencies and can balance immediate responsiveness with longer-term relationship and pipeline building, this role offers that blend.
