About this role
North Star Resource Group, an independent financial services firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO for their Austin office. You'd be the organizational backbone for the CEO, managing his calendar, travel, correspondence, and the flow of information between him and internal and external stakeholders. This is a behind-the-scenes role that requires someone genuinely comfortable with complexity—you'll juggle competing priorities, anticipate needs before they become urgent, and handle sensitive information with sound judgment. The position demands strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI tools, and the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
The role suits someone who thrives on variety and problem-solving rather than repetitive tasks. You'll coordinate everything from board-related travel to leadership meetings and special initiatives, while identifying ways to streamline processes in the executive office. Experience in financial services or supporting a CEO with board responsibilities is preferred but not required; what matters more is your ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment and your track record of managing multiple projects with precision.
The position offers a salary of $70,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications, along with generous PTO, comprehensive health coverage, disability insurance, and a 401K match. A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred. This is a full-time, in-office role in Austin.
