Description
VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is looking for compassionate and dedicated Part Time Certified Nursing Aide/ CNA to join our team in Richmond, VA. This office services our adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Richmond, VA. Must be a Virginia licensed CNA!
This would require reliable transportation to see multiple patients in their home setting during the day.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the VA Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance

About this role
VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is hiring part-time CNAs to provide in-home care to adult and geriatric patients throughout Richmond, Virginia. You'll visit multiple clients in their homes during the day, assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, vital signs monitoring, and light housekeeping.
