About this role

Hydrite is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead agricultural sales across a defined territory in Iowa. You'll own the full sales cycle—from identifying and closing new business to deepening relationships with existing customers—while selling fertilizer and chemical solutions that directly impact farm productivity. The role demands both commercial acumen and technical depth: you'll design customized treatment programs, analyze performance data, conduct business reviews with key stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor on complex agronomic challenges.

Success in this position requires five or more years of sales or technical experience, ideally with a track record of managing territory independently and closing deals. A bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field—agronomy, crop science, agricultural chemistry, or agribusiness—is preferred. You'll need strong proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively. The role reports to the Director of Sales and involves coordinating internally across manufacturing, distribution, and technical teams to ensure customer success.

Hydrite offers a stable, financially sound environment with competitive benefits including up to 10% retirement contribution, comprehensive health coverage from day one, front-loaded paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. The company emphasizes family-driven values and provides wellness support through coaching and fitness resources. This is an in-office position based in Iowa.
