About this role
RoofingSource, a family-owned commercial roofing company operating nationwide for over 20 years, is seeking a Service Foreman in Indianapolis to lead in-house crews on low-sloped roof installations and maintenance. You'd work with systems including TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM, operating specialized equipment like Leister welders and hot air guns. The role requires five or more years of roofing experience, though related trade background can substitute, along with the ability to read job specifications, follow safety and quality standards, and use tablet technology for client reporting and crew coordination.
Beyond technical skills, this position emphasizes leadership and communication—you'd be responsible for directing crew members, providing training, and maintaining professional client interactions. RoofingSource supplies all tools, materials, a company vehicle, and a company phone, removing logistical friction from the job. The company explicitly positions itself as different from typical roofing employers, highlighting consistent hours, team support, and career stability as differentiators.
The compensation range is $30,000 to $40,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, pet insurance, employer-matched 401(k), paid time off, HSA and FSA options, and enterprise discounts. This role suits someone with solid roofing credentials who values stability, in-house team structures, and a workplace that prioritizes employee retention.
