Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.
We are looking for a CDL Class A Delivery Driver to safely and timely transportation material to and from job sites, while also supporting warehouse operations when deliveries are not in progress. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency across projects by ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficientlyÂ
- Utilize hi/lo and/or forklifts when appropriate
- Monitor vehicle condition, including fluids and systems, and log routine check
- Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exteriorÂ
- Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely mannerÂ
- Properly secure and strap loads to prevent shifting during transit Â
- Maintain accurate and compliant driver logs as required by lawÂ
- Assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are not scheduledÂ
- Support general clean-up and organization
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Class A Commercial Driver License requiredÂ
- 3+ years of commercial driving experience Â
- Able to pass a drug screen and background checkÂ
- Strong attention to safety and detailÂ
- Ability to lift and move materials with or without assistance
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
