About this role
Cotton Holdings Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator to serve as the operational backbone for its project teams in Houston. You'd manage billing cycles, coordinate procurement activities, and maintain the documentation systems that keep projects running smoothly. Working in-office, you'd process vendor invoices, prepare monthly client billing, reconcile budgeted versus actual costs, and ensure all project files meet compliance standards—collaborating regularly with Accounting, Risk, and Project Managers to catch discrepancies early and support closeout procedures.
The role suits someone with at least a year of administrative experience, ideally in a service-based or insurance-related environment, who is comfortable with financial processes and detail-oriented work. You'll need solid Excel skills for data entry and reporting, strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple priorities, and the flexibility to travel to job sites when needed. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or Accounting is preferred but not required if you bring relevant hands-on experience and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
