About this role

Zevo Health is building mental health support services for content moderators and Trust & Safety professionals—a specialized and growing field—and is looking for licensed clinicians to work with this population on a freelance, affiliate basis in Los Angeles. The role blends individual counseling with group interventions, delivered both remotely and on-site, using evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused brief therapy. You'll also facilitate creative well-being sessions and manage clinical risk while maintaining detailed documentation and coordinating with the clinical team.

This position requires a Master's degree and current California licensure (as a psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or one of their associate-level equivalents), plus a minimum of three years of clinical experience. Training in short-term, solution-focused therapy and suicide risk assessment certification are valued. You'll need strong administrative skills, proficiency with standard software and video conferencing, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

The role suits clinicians drawn to niche, high-impact work who are comfortable with hybrid arrangements and the administrative demands of freelance contracting. If you have relevant licensure, clinical experience, and interest in supporting professionals navigating the psychological toll of online content work, this could be a meaningful fit.
