About this role
WMH Solutions is seeking a Senior Electric Forklift Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair electric forklifts and battery-powered material handling equipment across Cheraw and surrounding areas of South Carolina. This role demands genuine expertise in electric systems—electrical schematics, controllers, motors, industrial batteries, charging systems, and intermittent fault diagnosis—rather than general diesel or automotive experience. You'll work independently at customer sites, using diagnostic software and testing equipment to isolate root causes, complete repairs, and communicate clearly with customers to get equipment back into safe operation.
The position offers $35/hour+ based on your technical background, plus performance incentives, a take-home service van with fuel card, paid travel time, quarterly tool allowance, and paid Linde OEM training. You'll also receive standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, PTO, and paid holidays. This is full-time, Monday–Friday daytime field service with stable year-round work and a stated career path into technical and leadership roles.
This role is built for someone who has already invested years in electric material handling equipment and wants that specialized expertise recognized and compensated accordingly. If your background is primarily diesel, automotive, or general heavy equipment without electric forklift experience, WMH is explicit that this won't meet the requirement.
