About this role

Tropical Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their Dallas distribution facility near DFW Airport. This role combines order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping operations for a company that roasts nuts and seeds and produces bulk snack mixes across multiple regional locations. You'll handle the full cycle of warehouse work: assembling customer orders from stock, inspecting products before shipment, loading delivery trucks, and managing the paperwork that moves product out the door—including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping labels.

The day-to-day involves both physical work and computer tasks. You'll use scanners and basic software to log inventory, enter transaction data, and compile shipping records. The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds regularly and occasional operation of equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. You'll work in a moderately loud shipping environment where interruptions are normal, and you're expected to meet productivity standards while maintaining accuracy and a professional attitude toward internal and external customers.

This position suits someone with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least some warehouse or related experience, though the company will consider candidates with a combination of education and hands-on training. You'll need basic math skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and comfort working independently with limited supervision. Salary is $18–$20 per hour for full-time, in-office work in Dallas.
