About this role

Tropical Foods' delivery driver role covers a established route delivering bulk snack mixes and nut products across the Atlanta area. You'll manage the full cycle of each delivery—loading the van, driving to customer locations, unloading products, collecting signatures and payments, and handling customer service interactions. The work also includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness and condition, tracking receipts and sales data, and staying alert to customer needs so you can inform them of new products or address complaints on the spot.

This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, plus the ability to pass a DOT physical. You'll need basic computer skills to record delivery information and handle simple math for transactions. The job involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional loads up to 100 pounds, along with regular standing and walking. Some routes may require overnight stays depending on the market.

The role suits someone comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, organized enough to manage paperwork and vehicle upkeep, and customer-focused. High school education or equivalent is the baseline, though one to three years of related delivery or driving experience is preferred. The salary range is $19–$23 per hour.
