You'll work across the full spectrum of tool room responsibilities—from analyzing blueprints and work orders to designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision components and tooling. The role demands hands-on expertise with both traditional machine tools (mills, shapers, grinders) and modern CNC equipment, plus proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, and CMM systems. You'll also handle heat treating, water jet setup and operation, and be responsible for inspecting parts to tight tolerances (±.0002"), as well as recommending design improvements to existing dies, jigs, and fixtures.
This position requires an Associate's degree in Machine Tool & Die or equivalent, a Journeyman's Card, and at least five years of direct experience as a Tool & Die Maker. You should be comfortable reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, have solid knowledge of hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, brazing, and soldering, and possess the mathematical foundation to work with precision specifications. A strong safety mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Office round out the core requirements.
Reliable Automatic Sprinkler offers medical, dental, and vision coverage (available after 30 days), a 401k with company match (after 90 days), paid life insurance, paid holidays including your birthday, and PTO that grows with tenure. You'll be paid weekly and work full-time in-office.
