About this role

Pacific Seafood's Key Accounts Manager role combines account management with new business development for a family-owned seafood company based in San Antonio. You'll manage relationships with regional and national chains, distributors, and group purchasing organizations—both nurturing existing accounts and identifying expansion opportunities. The position requires you to balance day-to-day account maintenance, revenue and margin growth, and strategic project work, supported by forecasting, reporting, and coordination across internal teams.

This role demands three to five years of foodservice sales experience and a bachelor's degree, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400 systems. You'll spend roughly 40% of your time traveling to meet customers, present new products, and communicate program updates. The work is primarily office-based in San Antonio with Monday–Friday hours, though occasional weekend duties may arise. Prior experience in seafood or protein sales is valued but not required.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused with strong interpersonal and strategic thinking skills—someone comfortable managing multiple priorities, from account growth plans to internal stakeholder relationships. If you thrive in relationship-driven sales with a mix of account stewardship and business development, and you're willing to travel regularly, this could be a solid fit with an organization that emphasizes performance and professional growth.
