About this role
Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. is hiring an Assembler in Liberty, South Carolina to work full-time on the production line manufacturing fire protection sprinklers and related devices. You'll operate a mix of semi-automated and CNC equipment—stamping machines, torque wrenches, hydrostatic testing rigs, and glass bulb testers—while also performing hands-on component assembly and inspection. The role requires you to work from a Bill of Materials to verify parts, inspect finished goods and work in progress for quality, set up and run pressure tests, and keep your station clean and organized under the company's 5S program. You'll spend most of your day on your feet in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment, working closely with Cell Leaders, Production Assistants, and Material Handlers.
This position suits someone with at least six months of assembly line experience who has strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a repetitive, fast-paced setting. You'll need basic math and reading skills, familiarity with manufacturing equipment and computers, and a genuine commitment to workplace safety and teamwork. The physical demands are significant: you'll be standing roughly 90 percent of the time, performing repetitive hand and wrist movements, and occasionally lifting materials up to 40 pounds.
The role pays $17–$18 per hour with shift differentials available ($1.50 for second shift, $2.50 for third shift). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and FSA coverage after 30 days; a 401(k) with company match and life insurance after 90 days; three PTO days after 60 days; two weeks of vacation after six months; and ten paid holidays plus your birthday off.
