About this role
This is a senior operations leadership role at a rapidly expanding Texas-based law firm, not a traditional legal administrator position. You'd be the single accountable executive for all non-legal business operations across 16+ locations, reporting directly to ownership. The scope is substantial: you'll manage department heads overseeing intake, marketing, billing, HR, facilities, and IT while driving firm-wide systems, KPIs, and scalability. This is pure operations strategy and execution—no legal work, case involvement, or attorney supervision.
The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years managing multi-unit operations in regulated industries (legal, healthcare, franchise), with proven success leading managers and building high-performing teams. You'll need strong CRM expertise, ideally with HubSpot, and comfort with financial oversight, process standardization, and accountability. An MBA and legal industry background are preferred but not required; what matters most is a track record of scaling operations through systems rather than heroics, and the leadership presence to hold managers accountable and drive corrective action.
The firm offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, and a 401K with up to 5% match. The role is in-office in Houston and suits someone energized by rapid growth, operational complexity, and the challenge of standardizing processes across a multi-location firm heading toward $30M+ revenue.
