About this role
Lakeside International Trucks is seeking a truck sales representative to drive new and used medium- and heavy-duty truck sales across a designated territory in the Madison area. You'll prospect for customers through direct outreach, manage walk-in and call-in inquiries, prepare quotes and presentations, and coordinate test drives—all while using the dealership's CRM system to track and nurture relationships. The role requires hitting specific delivery and revenue targets that directly support the dealership's market position.
This position suits someone with sales experience, ideally in B2B or commercial equipment contexts, though two years in any sales field can qualify you. You'll need either a CDL license or the ability to obtain one, plus a Wisconsin State Salesperson License. A business degree or equivalent truck and automotive industry knowledge is preferred. Success here demands strong communication skills, comfort with digital tools and social platforms for prospecting, and the organizational discipline to juggle multiple prospects and priorities under pressure.
The salary range is $80,000 to $120,000 annually, and the role is full-time, in-office in Madison.
