About this role
AirTrunk is building hyperscale data centres across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and this role leads quality assurance across their rapidly expanding India portfolio. You'd establish and enforce consistent quality standards across multiple projects, contractors and suppliers, working from Mumbai with regular travel to active sites. The position sits within a larger quality function and reports to the Associate Director level, giving you national scope over QA governance, audits, digital systems and team capability.
The work spans the full project lifecycle—from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover. You'll direct project-level quality managers and inspectors, set expectations for contractors and suppliers, oversee defect management and non-conformance investigations, and drive adoption of digital tools like Procore and VisiBuild to improve documentation and traceability. A significant part of the role involves coaching and developing the India quality team while translating quality requirements into practical controls that work across a fast-moving environment.
This suits someone with 15+ years in construction quality or technical assurance, ideally from data centre, critical infrastructure or complex building projects, and proven experience leading quality across multiple sites or a portfolio. You'll need a tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or quality disciplines, strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems, and genuine comfort working with diverse stakeholders to influence outcomes. The role demands regular travel across India and the ability to operate effectively in a high-pace, collaborative setting.
