About this role

FOLX Health is building a telehealth therapy practice centered on LGBTQIA+ care, and they're looking for a licensed therapist to provide individual sessions to their members across Texas. As a part-time clinician, you'd conduct 45-minute video therapy sessions, handle clinical assessments and treatment planning, use between-session messaging to support continuity of care, and participate in team meetings and supervision. The role requires you to document thoroughly in their EMR system and help shape therapy programs for diverse patient populations—all while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

To be considered, you'll need an active Texas license (LCSW, LMHC, or LPC), a master's degree or higher in a relevant field, and at least two years of therapy experience. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with trans and queer communities and has delivered care via telehealth before. You should be comfortable with rapid change, self-directed work, and learning new platforms, plus demonstrate genuine commitment to informed consent and collaborative, empowerment-based care models.

You'll be hired as a part-time W-2 employee at $80 per visit (which includes 45 minutes of session time plus administrative work). Benefits include biweekly pay, malpractice insurance, access to a 401(k), a learning budget, and wellness reimbursement. This is a good fit if you're a licensed therapist seeking flexible, mission-driven work with an organization specifically built around affirming LGBTQIA+ healthcare.
