What You'll Do:

Provide software development project management + cross-functional coordination and communication to deliver outstanding products. This includes understanding product and business requirements driving the engineering programs.
Manage and track engineering project delivery schedules and ensure they align with cross-functional upstream and downstream dependencies (Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, PM, etc) and correlate to end-to-end delivery commitments.
Identify gaps and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, follow-through until resolution
Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
Drive effective and consistent processes in engineering organization, working with engineering leadership.

What You Bring:

You have 5+ years of experience as a TPM in a high-tech organization, and have a strong track record of facilitating enterprise level projects. You have spent this time working directly with software engineering teams delivering software products to production.
You have 2+ years of software development experience yourself, ideally in an area of building and evaluating system-level technical design
You bring technical dive-deep to guide the development process, and project management skills to ensure the proper solution is delivered to customers.
Your project management experience includes understanding and working with technical teams to build scope, schedule, resourcing, and quality/verification steps.
You have mechanisms for risk and critical path management.
You have experience communicating with external partners and stakeholders
You enjoy taking the initiative and owning projects from start to finish
You can build positive relationships based on trust and value delivered
You can communicate effectively and bring strong process, project management and decision-making/facilitating skills.
You are a critical thinker who can be strategic without losing the attention to detail

About this role

Machinify is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee software development projects across its AI-powered healthcare intelligence platform, which serves over 85 health plans representing 270 million lives. In this role, you'll manage engineering project schedules, track dependencies across Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams, and own release milestones while maintaining high velocity in a fast-paced environment. You'll identify delivery gaps, communicate them clearly to stakeholders, and drive process improvements across the engineering organization working alongside leadership.

This position requires at least five years of TPM experience in high-tech companies, with a proven track record on enterprise-level projects, plus at least two years of hands-on software development experience. You should be comfortable diving deep into technical design to guide development, while also managing scope, schedule, resourcing, and quality verification. Strong skills in risk and critical path management, stakeholder communication, and decision-making are essential, as is the ability to own projects end-to-end and build trust-based relationships with engineering teams.
