About this role
Resource Environmental Solutions is seeking a Senior Client Solutions Manager to drive sales and business development for its Advisory Services division across Florida, based in the Orlando office. In this role, you'll own a defined annual sales target and build a pipeline of prospective clients while positioning RES's environmental expertise—spanning ecology, cultural resources, contamination assessment, water quality, and coastal work—as strategic solutions to regulatory agencies, developers, engineering firms, and corporate clients. You'll lead cross-functional teams through the sales process, represent RES at industry conferences and trade groups, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities and expand existing contracts.
This position requires a science background (biology, environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field) and at least three years of experience as a "seller-doer" in environmental or regulatory consulting. You should bring demonstrated relationships with state and federal regulators, responsible parties, developers, and engineering firms, along with solid knowledge of environmental regulations like CERCLA, RCRA, CWA permits, and ESA. Experience leading clients through complex negotiations, familiarity with restoration design principles, and a track record of closing sales are essential. The role involves up to 50% travel and requires you to synthesize client feedback and market trends to help RES refine its service offerings.
You'll stand out if you have prior success securing contracts with Florida Department of Transportation, municipalities, ports, or water management districts, experience with GIS, and a demonstrated ability to build consensus among multiple stakeholders. This is a full-time, in-office position in Orlando.
