About this role

# About This Role

This is a hands-on leadership position managing Cohere Health's analytics and clinical configuration team while directly shaping the auto-decisioning platform's strategy. You'll own end-to-end analytics solutions for new client implementations—from translating business problems into analytical frameworks through data gathering, analysis, and scaled deployment—with significant autonomy. The role sits at the intersection of healthcare data work and product impact, requiring you to build explainable, governance-aligned analytics while independently recommending actions that drive business outcomes.

You'll spend roughly half your time leading and mentoring your team—setting goals, hiring, developing staff capabilities, and embedding best practices for scalable solutions—and half executing complex analytics initiatives yourself. This includes designing auto-decisioning strategies for clients, working with claims and clinical data, identifying optimization opportunities, and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders. You'll also partner with data governance and cross-functional teams to ensure your work meets compliance and explainability standards.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on healthcare analytics management experience and 7+ years in data science or analytics overall, with at least 2 years managing teams. You'll need strong Python and SQL skills, a proven track record scaling analytics teams, and the ability to translate sophisticated data science into actionable business insights. Healthcare industry knowledge and experience with claims, EMR, or lab data are valued but not required. This is an in-office position in Hyderabad.
