About AppLovin

AppLovin makes technologies that help businesses of every size connect to their ideal customers. The company provides end-to-end advertising solutions for businesses to reach, monetize and grow their global audiences. For more information about AppLovin, visit: www.applovin.com.

To deliver on this mission, our global team is composed of team members with life experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that mirror our developers and customers around the world. At AppLovin, we are intentional about the team and culture we are building, seeking candidates who are outstanding in their own right and also demonstrate their support of others.

About the role

AppLovin Ads is one of the largest growth channels available to consumer brands - most just haven't discovered it yet, or don't yet understand how it can transform their business. Your job is to change that by creating content that gets new consumer advertisers to launch on AppLovin and sets them up to succeed once they do.

What you’ll do

  • Own the advertiser content program end to end. You set the calendar, write the pieces, decide where the content gets distributed, publish, track performance, and iterate.
  • Create content that accelerates consumer advertisers launching on AppLovin Ads. Figure out the topics most likely to resonate, what formats to use, and where to reach the audience.
  • Make sure advertisers have the information they need to be successful on AppLovin Ads once they’ve launched. Get ahead of the most common failure points and build playbooks, tutorials, and guides that help advertisers succeed.
  • Create seasonal content campaigns around key advertiser moments like BFCM and Q1. Plan for what’s coming and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Track what’s working and kill what isn’t. The content you create should result in advertisers launching and scaling on AppLovin.

What we’re looking for

  • You are an exceptional writer. You can distill complex advertising topics into content that's clear, compelling, and polished - without the help of a copyeditor.
  • You move fast and would rather publish and iterate than wait until something is perfect.
  • You are self-directed. This isn’t a role where you’ll be given an existing content playbook to execute - you’ll build it yourself and won’t need someone to tell you where to start. The calendar you build is the calendar you execute.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years experience writing content for a performance marketing or adtech audience. You’ve published work you can point to.
  • Familiarity with PostHog, Superset, Trino or other big data platforms. Ideally you will query large datasets to find your own answers, not wait for someone to pull a report.
  • Video scripting or production experience.
  • Ad platform background - you've marketed to advertisers, not just to consumers.

About this role

This role owns AppLovin Ads' advertiser content program from end to end—you'll write, publish, distribute, and measure content designed to get consumer brands to launch on the platform and succeed once they do. You'll identify which topics and formats resonate with advertisers, build playbooks and guides that help them avoid common pitfalls, and create seasonal campaigns around key moments like BFCM. The work is self-directed; you'll build the content calendar yourself and iterate based on performance data rather than waiting for perfect execution.

You need to be an exceptional writer who can translate complex advertising concepts into clear, compelling pieces without editorial support, and you should be comfortable moving fast and publishing to learn. The role is based in Los Angeles and requires in-office work. A background in performance marketing or adtech content is strongly preferred, as is the ability to query data platforms like PostHog or Superset to find your own insights. Experience marketing to advertisers (rather than consumers), video scripting, or ad platform familiarity would be valuable additions.

The position offers a base salary of $153,000–$200,000, equity eligibility, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k), unlimited discretionary time off, and 10 paid holidays plus 80 hours of sick leave annually.
