About this role
Ruggable is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations at its Charlotte manufacturing and fulfillment facility. You'll lead a team of maintenance technicians responsible for keeping production lines running—managing everything from large-scale printing and cutting equipment to packaging systems. This role demands direct involvement in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, coordinating repairs with external vendors, and conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures to prevent downtime.
Beyond technical maintenance, you'll own safety compliance across the facility, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and internal protocols. You'll also handle the people side of the role: scheduling shifts, conducting performance reviews, managing conflicts, and coordinating with production supervisors during daily handoffs. Spare parts inventory and vendor management round out the operational responsibilities.
This position requires at least two years of manufacturing maintenance experience with proven supervisory background, strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems, and fluency in both English and Spanish. An associate degree or trade certification in a relevant field is preferred, as is prior OSHA certification or textile manufacturing experience. You'll be on your feet for full eight-hour shifts in an industrial environment, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
