About this role

iCapital is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Des Moines to oversee client implementations and software development projects from start to finish. You'll manage statements of work, coordinate requirements and design phases, establish project baselines, and keep clients informed on progress, budget, and timeline status. The role requires balancing competing demands: delivering on schedule and within budget while managing scope changes, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across both external client relationships and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has three to five years of project or program management experience, with solid grounding in software development lifecycles and either Waterfall or Agile methodologies. You'll need proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Visio) and project management software like JIRA or MS Project. Project management certifications such as PMP or CSM are valued, as is experience with process improvement frameworks. Background in financial services—particularly life insurance or annuities—is a plus but not required.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Des Moines with Monday-Thursday office presence and Friday remote flexibility. The salary range is $75,000 to $90,000, with equity participation, performance bonuses, employer-matched retirement, and comprehensive benefits including fully covered dental and vision, telemedicine, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
