About this role
ProCogia is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and operate enterprise cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, supporting both client environments and internal products across data, analytics, and AI systems. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong fundamentals across cloud architecture, Linux, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability—not a pure operations position. You'll work on production troubleshooting, incident response, cloud migrations, and platform modernization while collaborating directly with clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
The role demands at least five years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience with demonstrated production expertise in AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll need strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages, plus solid knowledge of networking, IAM, security, and monitoring. Systems thinking and the ability to learn unfamiliar enterprise technologies quickly are essential, as is comfort with client-facing communication and taking ownership across the full stack from architecture through implementation.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Vancouver (five days per week) offering CAD $100,000–$115,000 annually plus benefits. Experience with regulated environments, cloud migrations, MLOps, AI infrastructure, or platforms like Posit and Databricks is valued but not required. ProCogia works across highly regulated industries where reliability and security matter, giving you exposure to meaningful technical challenges beyond traditional DevOps work.
