We're looking for a Lead Analyst, Publishing Analytics who combines deep marketing-
measurement expertise with strong business judgment and a talent for turning fragmented

You will:
• Lead social listening, sentiment, and creator analytics across PlayStation titles and
franchises, using sources such as Meltwater, Quid, community platforms, influencer
and streaming data, and first-party signals to identify shifts in conversation, content
performance, and emerging issues around campaigns, releases, and live-service
milestones.
• Develop, validate, interpret, and evolve marketing mix models that quantify the
contribution of paid, owned, and earned channels to revenue, demand, engagement,
and other business outcomes across live-service games.
• Own complex publishing analytics programs and stakeholder relationships for
multiple games across the portfolio, clarifying decision needs, setting the analytical
approach, managing milestones and risks, and driving work through adoption with a
high degree of autonomy.
• Create stakeholder-ready narratives and products that turn complex evidence into
concise presentations, dashboards, recommendations, and executive summaries
with clear implications and actions.
• Translate marketing measurement into practical investment guidance, using MMM,
incrementality, experimentation, and benchmarking to inform strategy, budget
allocation, channel planning, campaigns, and future tests.
• Deliver timely recurring and ad hoc decision support for live-service and brand-
marketing campaigns, events, content beats, launch windows, publishing
performance reviews, franchise programs, and critical business moments.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering and Data & AI teams to build scalable marketing-
data foundations and operationalize data pipelines.
What we are looking for
• Advanced applied analytics expertise demonstrated through high-impact work in
marketing, publishing, product, commercial, or customer analytics.
• Deep knowledge of marketing measurement, including marketing mix modeling,
incrementality, experimental design, attribution, causal reasoning, and budget-response
interpretation.
• Experience integrating and interpreting multi-channel marketing data across paid media,
owned channels, earned media, social and community, influencer and creator, sales,
finance, audience, and product-performance signals.
• Experience with social analytics, ideally using social-listening or influencer-measurement
tools and data such as Meltwater, Quid, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, Steam, reviews,
forums, or comparable sources.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python and/or R for joining complex
datasets, statistical modeling, reproducible analysis, validation, and automation.
• Strong consultative stakeholder leadership and autonomous program management
across Marketing, Publishing, Product Management, Finance, Production, Data,
Engineering, and game teams.
• Excellent data visualization and executive storytelling skills.
Domain Experience
• Experience in games, entertainment, digital media, subscription, or another rapidly
evolving live-service business.
• Familiarity with marketing effectiveness, audience development, launches, engagement,
monetization, and franchise health.

assisted workflows to improve quality and velocity.
