About this role
This part-time night shift position with BAYADA's HICU® Health Services team involves delivering skilled nursing care to infants and young children transitioning from hospital to home-based care in the Pittsburgh area. You would work one-on-one with patients in their homes as part of a hospital care extension team, providing direct clinical care while training families and care teams during the initial weeks at home. The role emphasizes both clinical competency and family education, positioning you as a bridge between acute hospital settings and home environments.
To qualify, you need an active LPN license and at least one year of verifiable LPN experience in NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care settings involving tracheostomy or ventilator management. You must demonstrate competence in infusion therapy and trach/vent care, either through prior home care work or lab validation. This is a specialized role requiring comfort with high-acuity pediatric patients and the ability to work independently in home settings.
BAYADA offers $40+ per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and standard benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement. The company emphasizes professional development through scholarships, free courses, and on-the-job training within a team-based, supportive environment.
