BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist/Job Coaches to join our team. In this role, Job Coaches provide one-on-one support, coaching, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in integrated community work settings. Job Coaches assist individuals in exploring career interests, securing employment, and developing the skills needed to maintain long-term success at work. How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Empowering an Individual to obtain meaningful employment
- Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
- Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities
- Advocating for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual
- Making an impact on the community
Compensation & Schedule:
- Competitive pay rates: $25 per hour with a weekly pay schedule
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
- Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)

Qualifications for Our Job Coaches:
- One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD)
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
- Day-time availability
- ACRE and/or CESP certification preferred but not required.

About this role
This part-time position at BAYADA Home Health Care involves providing direct employment coaching and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community work settings. You would work one-on-one with clients to help them explore career interests, secure jobs, and build the skills needed to succeed long-term in employment. Your responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, educating employers about the value and accommodations of hiring people with disabilities, and advocating for workplace inclusion.
The role requires at least one year of experience working with IDD populations and a high school diploma or equivalent. ACRE or CESP certification is preferred but not required. You'll need daytime availability and should be comfortable with a commute of up to 30 minutes from your home. BAYADA aims to match positions close to where you live.
The position pays $25 per hour with flexible part-time scheduling and weekly pay.
