About this role

This contract role at Allen Integrated Solutions manages furniture installation projects for Government clients across domestic and international locations. You'll coordinate complex projects from planning through completion, acting as the primary liaison between Government representatives, subcontractors, and dealership project managers. The work spans the full project lifecycle: reviewing specifications and technical drawings, scheduling installations, conducting site visits and walkthroughs, managing quality control and punch-list activities, and maintaining detailed records and documentation on Government systems. You'll also oversee a service ticket process for repairs, reconfigurations, and other furniture requests.

The position requires hands-on involvement beyond traditional project management. You'll perform physical installation tasks including moving and assembling furniture, heavy lifting, and inventory work alongside your team and subcontractors. Travel to both domestic and overseas Government sites is expected as needed to oversee installations and ensure compliance with OSHA and Government standards.

You'll need an active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI Poly—ideally already held from this client—plus at least five years of experience as a furniture installer or project manager on comparable projects. Strong technical skills are essential: you must read and interpret floorplans and technical drawings, understand systems furniture components, and manage coordination with electrical and IT teams. Familiarity with ARCHIBUS, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office suite is desired. This role suits someone comfortable moving between strategic coordination and practical installation work, with proven ability to solve problems quickly and communicate clearly across Government, contractor, and vendor stakeholders.
