Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.

We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.

About this role

This is a part-time Community Manager role at DEPT®, where you'd manage social media communities for established brands like Miele, Ziggo, Grolsch, and Red Bull. The work is primarily online engagement—responding to comments across platforms, adapting to different brand voices, staying on top of trends, and handling both positive interactions and potential PR issues. You'll have flexibility to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection after a brief 2-hour onboarding, and you can schedule your weekly tasks around your availability.

The role suits someone who is genuinely engaged with social media and comfortable working across weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed. You'll need strong Dutch and English language skills, an HBO-level education or equivalent, and the ability to think creatively and stay calm when managing community interactions that sometimes require judgment calls about tone and escalation. This isn't a strategic role—it's hands-on community work that rewards people who understand online culture and can shift between different brand personalities.

DEPT® offers a competitive hourly wage, internet allowance, and benefits including wellness programs, transit benefits, and professional development opportunities. The company is B-Corp certified and has been recognized as a Great Place to Work, with a stated culture around collaboration and moving quickly. If you're looking for flexible part-time work that keeps you embedded in social platforms and brand communities, this could be a strong fit.
