About this role
AOTI is seeking independent contractors to deliver and support its TWO2 wound therapy equipment in the Baltimore or Washington, DC area. The role centers on in-home patient care: you'll deliver and set up equipment, educate patients on proper use, retrieve equipment when treatment ends, and handle basic maintenance and documentation. You'll also identify and escalate patient concerns to AOTI's clinical team. Compensation is $200 per delivery-and-setup visit and $200 per retrieval, with potential for additional work depending on territory demand.
This is a 1099 contract role, meaning you operate as an independent business responsible for your own taxes, insurance, vehicle, and expenses. You'll need a valid driver's license, reliable transportation suitable for medical equipment, required auto insurance, and the ability to safely handle and transport therapy devices. The work is field-based and flexible in scheduling, though you're expected to complete services promptly and maintain professional communication with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
The role suits someone with healthcare, home health, or medical equipment experience who works well independently, communicates clearly, and is comfortable using mobile technology for documentation. You should be organized, problem-solving oriented, and genuinely interested in supporting patient outcomes. This is best for someone who can manage their own business logistics and compliance responsibilities while serving patients across a geographic territory.
