About this role
Skill Sprouts ABA is hiring a Children's Care Specialist to deliver one-on-one support to children with autism and developmental disabilities across homes, schools, and community settings in Albuquerque. In this role, you'll work directly with kids to build communication, social, play, and independence skills while following individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll collect session data, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with your clinical team about each child's progress.
The position values experience working with children in any capacityâwhether through childcare, education, special education, or camp settingsâthough prior ABA experience isn't required. RBT certification is preferred but not necessary for the right candidate. You'll need reliable transportation to travel between client locations, the ability to pass a background check, and a patient, dependable approach to learning and receiving feedback as part of a team. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a particular asset given the role's focus on serving New Mexico families.
The role offers $20â$25 per hour based on experience, flexible scheduling, paid time off, ongoing professional development, and mentorship from a BCBA. This is a full-time, in-office position suited to someone genuinely interested in supporting children's development and growth within a collaborative team environment.
