About this role

Blackbird Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the physical expansion of its pediatric mental health clinics across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, and into new markets in 2027. You'll own the complete lifecycle of new clinic openings—from site selection through launch readiness and post-launch stabilization—while also directing ongoing facilities operations across all established locations. The role demands someone who can orchestrate multiple departments (Real Estate, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Ops, IT, Finance) on tight timelines, establish scalable operational playbooks, and manage vendor relationships and budgets. This is a hybrid position based in the Philadelphia metro area with regular travel to clinic sites.

You'll need at least seven years managing multi-site facilities, healthcare or retail expansion, or operations at scale, with a proven track record of executing new site launches and managing vendor contracts. Direct experience leading and developing operational staff is essential. The role suits someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, thinks systematically about preventative maintenance and operational standards, and can identify and mitigate risks before they derail timelines. Healthcare or behavioral health clinic experience is valued but not required; what matters more is your ability to build systems that work across multiple locations.

The position offers a salary of $105,000–$115,000, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, and generous paid time off, along with a supportive, clinician-led organizational culture focused on pediatric mental health care.
