About this role
Redapt's Principal Security Advisor (vCISO) role sits at the intersection of executive strategy and hands-on technical delivery. You would serve as a trusted security advisor to C-suite stakeholders while designing and leading implementation of enterprise security solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. The position blends advisory work—running security strategy engagements, conducting executive workshops, and translating business risk into cybersecurity initiatives—with architecture and delivery leadership, where you'd oversee complex security projects, mentor technical teams, and ensure quality across implementations.
This role requires at least 10 years of cybersecurity or security consulting experience, with 5+ years leading enterprise security initiatives. You need demonstrated expertise in security architecture, cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP), identity and access management, governance and compliance, zero trust frameworks, incident response, and Microsoft security technologies. The ability to communicate effectively with both executives and technical teams is essential—you'll move fluidly between boardroom strategy sessions and technical quality assurance.
Beyond customer-facing work, you'll help shape Redapt's security services strategy by developing repeatable assessments, frameworks, and methodologies, and you'll support sales teams on strategic opportunities. This is a hybrid role based in Las Vegas, suited for a seasoned security leader who wants to combine advisory influence with hands-on architecture and delivery while contributing to practice growth.
