About this role

# About This Role

9th Way Insignia, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, is seeking a Senior Informatica PowerCenter Migration Engineer to lead the migration of the VA Enterprise Data Warehouse from on-premises Oracle infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role based in Washington, DC, requiring you to assess, configure, migrate, and optimize Informatica PowerCenter ETL workloads supporting a large, mission-critical data warehouse. You'll own the full migration lifecycle across development through production environments, working to ensure data integrity and operational performance throughout the transition.

The role demands deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter administration and troubleshooting, combined with strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL capabilities to validate data movement and resolve discrepancies at scale. You'll develop data-reconciliation processes, optimize ETL job performance, coordinate across multiple technical teams (database, cloud infrastructure, security, networking), and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks. This requires balancing hands-on technical execution with cross-functional collaboration and adherence to VA security and change-control processes.

You'll need a minimum of 10 years administering and troubleshooting Informatica PowerCenter, a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience), and demonstrated success migrating large-scale ETL platforms. Hands-on cloud implementation experience is required, with OCI experience strongly preferred. Prior exposure to Oracle GoldenGate, Informatica Metadata Manager, VA environments, or cloud operational-readiness activities would strengthen your candidacy. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
