DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Installer in Tampa, FL. You will be installing a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. If you have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and have experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors, please apply!
Job Responsibilities:
- Install a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
- Always operate in safety conscious manner while performing job duties
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
- Ability to safely lift 100 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
- AAADM Certification required.

About this role
D.H. Pace Company, Inc. is hiring an Automatic Door Installer for its Tampa office on a contract basis. In this role, you would install a variety of automatic door systems—revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors—along with related hardware. The work involves both mechanical and electrical components, and you would also identify customer needs, maintain job documentation, and prioritize safety on every job.
The position requires AAADM certification and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience in automatic doors, access control, or hollow metal work is preferred, as is a high school diploma or GED. You'll need to be comfortable working at heights, using ladders, and safely lifting up to 100 pounds. If you bring verifiable industry experience in automatic door systems and hold AAADM certification, you're eligible for a $2,500 hiring bonus.
