About this role
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a senior leader to own endpoint security strategy and execution across Japan and Asia. You would drive the full lifecycle—from designing security architecture and evaluating tools like EDR and vulnerability management platforms, to overseeing deployment and continuous improvement across multiple sites and business units. This role sits within the Tokyo Information Security office and involves close collaboration with IT, development teams, and game studios to solve complex security challenges in fast-moving environments, while also feeding technical input back to global security standards.
The position demands eight or more years of hands-on endpoint security experience, with proven track record leading product evaluations and implementations. You'll need strong problem-solving ability to work autonomously on intricate technical issues, fluent English for daily global collaboration, and the communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives. The role offers substantial scope and discretion—you're not executing someone else's plan, but shaping regional security direction within a global framework.
This suits someone with deep technical expertise in endpoint defense, vulnerability management, and related domains who also thrives in a collaborative, multinational setting. The team is small (20 people) and globally connected, so you'd be working closely with colleagues across the US, Europe, and Asia. Security certifications, automation experience, and incident response background are valued additions.
